1. Acceptance of Terms
By receiving or sending WhatsApp messages through Sir Winston AI, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please contact your league administrator to be removed from the service.
2. Description of Service
Sir Winston AI is a WhatsApp-based assistant that provides golf league information, including player rankings, team standings, skins results, tee times, and weekly scorecard highlights. The service is operated by Matthew Van Wely and is intended exclusively for members of participating golf leagues in Canada and North America.
Sir Winston AI supports golf league administration through member-expected WhatsApp communications. It is not a general-purpose messaging service and is not used for unsolicited mass marketing.
3. Eligibility and Consent
The service is intended for golf league members who have been registered by a league administrator with their prior consent. Use of the service by unauthorized individuals is not permitted. By participating in a league that uses Sir Winston AI, you consent to receiving league-related WhatsApp messages as described in these Terms and in our Privacy Policy.
4. Message Frequency and Content
Message frequency varies based on league activity. You may receive notifications after weekly rounds when standings are updated, or in response to direct queries. Messages are limited to league operations: tee times, availability, standings, rankings, skins results, and scorecard highlights. We do not send promotional or marketing messages.
5. Opting Out
You may stop receiving messages at any time by:
- Replying STOP to any message from Sir Winston AI
- Contacting your league administrator
- Emailing support@sirwinstonai.com
Opt-out requests are processed promptly. After opting out, you will no longer receive WhatsApp notifications from the service.
6. Accuracy of Information
Sir Winston AI provides information based on data entered by league administrators. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but do not guarantee that all information is complete, current, or error-free. Official league results should always be confirmed with your league administrator.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the service
- Send spam, abusive, or harassing messages to the assistant
- Attempt to extract proprietary information about the service
- Use the service if you have not been authorized by a participating league
8. Limitation of Liability
Sir Winston AI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including errors in league data, service interruptions, or decisions made based on information provided by the assistant.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to remove any user from the service at any time, including for violation of these Terms. You may also discontinue use at any time by opting out as described in Section 5.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
